HAPPY NEW YEAR

Well now, is it just me or did 2018 shoot past like a greyhound after a rabbit?

Just before Christmas i looked at my Blog and saw that i hadn't done one since August.

My first thought was, "How did i manage to not write four Blog posts?".

And then i thought, "All the website guru's would be cursing me if they knew".

(Who are those website guru's anyway?)

The truth is i just got really busy, and as i've told you before, i'm terrible at being consistent

with posting on all the social media sites and this website, while juggling everything else that fills our lives.

That made me think about it all, and brought up some questions about why i write this Blog, and use social media.

I did get some answers.

First off i really like communicating with you.

Social media is easy and quick to use, so that explains why i've spent a lot of time connecting that way, and i can do it via my phone while running around.

This Blog and my email newsletter cant be posted from my phone, so its not as quick or easy.

BUT, i really enjoy sitting down to write this Blog, and the ramblings, news etc that i send out to those of you that have subscribed to my email newsletter.

I love to get feedback on anything i've posted, or written, or asked questions about.

And i also always appreciate it when someone subscribes to my email newsletter.

It feels more personal, and i realized i feel a greater sense of trust when someone gives me their email address.

So, for 2019 and onwards i'm making the move to communicate with you much more often on this Blog, and via email ... I'll be cutting down on social media very soon.

I think this gives me the opportunity to focus my energy and attention on YOU.

YOU take the time to come here to my website and read this Blog.

YOU were trusting enough to give me your email address.

This year we will get to know each other better, and wallow in our music fan geek world!
